VISITORS

Finding Your Way Around

Our facility has two major buildings: the Sanctuary and the Joe Hopkins Ministry Center. The Ministry Center is located directly behind the Sanctuary and the two buildings are connected by the Narthex, which has double glass doors on both the First Citizen’s side and Fountain Park side.

Our Sanctuary can be entered from a variety of doorways, including the Narthex entrances and the front door entrances. Because our Sanctuary seating is “in the round” any of these doorways are appropriate for entering the Sanctuary.

We have two handicap accessible entrances. One is located on the lower level of the Joe Hopkins Ministry Center with elevator access to the Narthex. Handicap parking for this access is located at the entrance to the Ministry Center on the First Citizen’s side of the Church. The second is an exterior ramp that leads directly to the Sanctuary and is located on the First Citizen’s side near the visitor parking. See more information and photos below.

Nursery
A nursery for children birth to 3 years old is also located downstairs in the Ministry Center. The entrance at Hopkins Hall remains locked for security purposes but a doorbell is available if a greeter is not available.

Restrooms
Restrooms are located on both levels of the Ministry Center only. There are no restrooms in the Sanctuary.

Sunday School Classrooms
Sunday School Classrooms are located on both levels of the Ministry Center. Sunday School classes meet during the school year at 10am. Sunday School classes will have a sabbath rest May 28-August 20, 2023.

Ready To Join?
If you are a visitor and you would like to join our church, you may speak to the pastor or indicate your interest in joining on the “Membership Pad” located in every pew. New members are received into membership by the Session. The only requirement for membership is faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. New members can join our church in one of the following ways:

  • Profession of Faith through Baptism
  • Reaffirmation of Faith, if you have been baptized previously (the Presbyterian Church recognizes all baptisms in other Christian denominations)
  • Transfer of Letter of Membership from another church

New Member Classes (Presbyterian 101) are held at least once/year for new members who would like to learn more about the Presbyterian Church.
